Glasskærmen har sandsynligvis været produceret første gang i 1920'erne. Med sin organiske form og enkle kurver blev den meget populær i mange danske køkkener indtil lysstofrørenes indtog i 1950'erne. Vi har genoptaget produktionen af denne smukke, klassiske københavnerpendel. Hvis du har mere præcise historiske informationer om skærmens tilblivelse hører vi gerne fra dig!

De originale mundblæste og håndlavede triplex (3-lags-glas) skærme producerer vi i Tjekkiet. Hafniapendlerne monterer og pakker vi i Måløv vest for København. Herved sikrer vi dig den bedste kvalitet! De fleste skærme har sandsynligvis en ulige vægtfordeling, da skærmene er mundblæste og håndlavede Derfor udstyrer vi vore lampeholdere med balanceophæng. Det klassiske balanceophæng som er udstyret med en tandringnippel, eller det nye moderne "Glorie"-balanceophæng, "Halo" på engelsk, som gør det muligt at hænge en skærm med skæv vægtfordeling lige.

The original mouthblown and handmade triplex (3-layer glass) shades we produce in the Czech Republic. The pendants we assemble and pack in Måløv west of Copenhagen. In this way we secure you getting a quality product! Most shades have an uneven weight distribution (not in balance) because the shades are mouthblown and handmade. That's why the shade holders are equipped with a cogring, the traditional balancing unit or the "Halo" balancing unit, a new and unique way of balancing your pendant; in this way it is possible to hang a shade with uneven weight distribution straight.

	The shoemaker pendant gives you a very efficient downlight and at the same time, with an opalescent shade, an ideal general illumination.  The Hafnia pendant also gives you an efficient downlight and an ideal general illumination of the room. But add to this the Hafnia pendant gives you a glare free light. Practically speaking you have to be under the lamp to see the bulb!  Whatever light you choose you will feel comfortable in your surroundings!
